Lane Ranch has been operating as a real working ranch since 1908.

Lane Ranch and Co. is well known for providing authentic equipment and liberty trained horses, cattle, and other livestock to the motion picture industry since 1976. 

 

Lane Ranch supplies COMPLETE WRANGLER COORDINATION FOR YOUR MOVIE, TV SHOW, COMMERCIAL, OR SPECIAL EVENT!!

We have two different mechanical bulls including an "El Toro" (Urban Cowboy), sleighs, stagecoaches, windmills, and a collection of over 150 wagons. 

 

The ranch can supply driving teams of horses, mules, or draft horses from a single animal to a 10-up team.   We can supply oxen teams if needed to companies seeking the highest quality livestock and hard-to-find and rare original authentic equipment.
 

Some of the more unusual equipment pieces are: a Ben Hur Chariot with harness for up to a 4-up team and very Rare Bottom dump wagons fully restored.

LOCATION!!!  Lane Ranch boasts the original old barn on the ranch and 1200 acres of rolling desert  including a round corral for location shoots.

PROPS!  Lane Ranch has farm and ranch machinery used in building the California Aqueduct,  Borax wagons, old freight wagons, Cotton wagons, windmills actually being used, old water tanks, wooden water troughs, harnesses for any team hookup to a 20 mule team, harrows and plows actually used, wooden wagon wheels by the dozens,  old equipment including a cement truck, parts and pieces of almost any piece of equipment used in farming and ranching.  All these a part of Lane Ranch's past history.

FARM ANIMALS!   In addition to highly trained and liberty trained horses and cattle, Lane Ranch has access to goats, sheep, chickens, and dogs.

SPECIALTY EQUIPMENT!  Lane Ranch has antique horse drawn vehicles such as a delivery wagon and milk wagon. All types of old farm and ranch equipment that was really used to farm, ranch, build roads and deliver materials for the Aqueduct.
